THE PSYCHOSOCIAL NEEDS OF STUDENTS IN TIYANI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: A BASIS FOR A PROPOSED GUIDANCE INTERVENTION PROGRAM

Abstract:

This study developed a guidance intervention program to address the identified psychosocial needs of the students in Tiyani Elementary School in Sucol, Calamba, Laguna after having determined their psychosocial needs, looked into the existing guidance services provided to the students, and identified their source of psychosocial assistance. The researchers conducted survey with 279 Grade 6 pupils, interview with key informant, and review of documents to accomplish the set objectives.
