Abstract:

This case study provided alternative design for a telephone and Internet connection plant layout to give efficient communication service to the residents of Brgy. Mojon Liliw, Laguna.

The researchers collected related service data to evaluate the current situation of the locale. Three alternative solutions, namely: using copper cable, using fiber optic cable, and using radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) were proposed. PLDT and the researchers agreed to use a transmission medium that is more suited to the locale.
