Consequently, to come up with an action plan that would serve as an assistance to help the working students continue their studies in school. The researchers utilized a quantitative and qualitative descriptive type of research with the use of a researcher-made questionnaire supported bya focus group to solicit data from the respondents. There were two groups of respondents in the study, purposive sampling was utilized, the 10 class advisers handling working students and the 32 working students from different strands of Grade 11 and Grade 12 who were enrolled in SY 2022-2023. The findings of the study revealed that the employer of working students is aware that these students are currently enrolled in school. However, only 25% of students have an agreement or work contract with their employers while 75% of them are working without any agreement or contract. Moreover, only 12 students have a work plan made by the employer to avoid conflict with their class schedule while the rest of the 20 students have no concrete plan crafted, which indicates a future conflict on their class schedule particularly when the full swing face to face learning shallbe implemented. On the status of working students in terms of academic performance in the first semester, as perceived by their class advisers, the working students seemed to be performing despite the challenges of their work since the obtained overall mean in all 5 aspects is 3.06 with the verbal interpretation of “often”. This result signifies that the working students have the enthusiasm to learn and participate in the classroom discussion and were still able to pass their performances and assessments. Nonetheless, to submit activities on time and to attend class regularly got lowest mean obtained.
