This study extracted the following themes: (1) innocent stage, (2) disturbed childhood, (3) emotional road to recovery and survival and (4) determination to rebuild and to inspire. The results showed that socio-parental guidance, community, experience, curiosity, and education are contributing factors of nurturing the holistic formation of the Person Living with HIV (PLWH). The determination to move on and rebuild one’s life makes PLWH an inspiration and role model to other PLWHAs.
