Abstract:

The study entitled “A TRACER STUDY OF THE EMPLOYMENT AND PROFESSIONAL STATUS OF GRADUATES OF BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION MAJOR IN ENGLISH” is focused on the current status of Batch 2018-2018 graduates of the Pamantasan ng Cabuyao in line with the intent to evaluate the performance of the BSED program and the kind of graduates it creates. In this study, a descriptive-correlation design is used in performing a survey to 2018 to 2020 college graduates of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English in Pamantasan ng Cabuyao. Descriptive correlational studies describe the variables and the relationships that occur naturally between and among them. Through a questionnaire from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as the instrumentation used and percentage and distribution frequency as the statistical tool used, the researchers were able to gather the respondents’ general profile, employment data. Facts present that the majority of the respondents are competent and well-equipped in suiting the COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ARTS, AND SCIENCES Pamantasan ng Cabuyao Katapatan Homes, Brgy. Banay Banay City of Cabuyao, Laguna demands of the world employment market. From these findings, the University may consistently commit itself to conduct regular tracer studies on the employment status of the Bachelor of Secondary Education .
