Abstract:

It is a great pleasure and privilege for me to be present at this gathering, and I am most grateful to His Excellency Archbishop Rosales for inviting me here. This is an historic occasion; historic in a double sense, for you are not only making history, you are repeating it. Many times before, in many different parts of the world, Catholics have come together in this way to build, or to rebuild, their common place of worship.
