Psychosocial and Psychological Adjustments of Patients with Beta Thalassemia and their Families

Abstract:

The study focuses on the psychosocial and psychological adjustments of patients with Beta Thalassemia and their families. It also identifies their burdens and life adjustments. In this qualitative study, seven (7) themes on the psychosocial adjustment of the patients and their families, twelve (12) themes on the psychological adjustment, two (2) themes of their socio-economic burden, and seven (7) themes on the life adjustment of patients with beta thalassemia and their families were identifed.
