Abstract:

Choco Mallow Empanada is an alternative to the classic empanada. It is filled with melted chocolates and marshmallows which were preferred by the target market. The proponents aimed the product to be the most ideal snack to be served to everyone. Empanades started operations on November 20, 2013, and in 40 days, sold 3,312 pieces of empanada. A working capital of Php 14,480.30 was invested to cover direct materials, labor, overhead, furniture and equipment, supplies, advertising, salary, transportation, and rent expenses, license fee, research and development costs, and contingency fund. By the end of January, the net income was Php 1,621.67.
