Abstract:

The estimated 2.5 million tons of rice hull in the Philippines that are  either dumped or burned prompted the researchers to create an odor suppressant to lessen agricultural wastes. This study determined the feasibility of producing odor suppressant from carbonized rice hull for profitability and market distinction. With an assurance of safety and  quality, Ipas Manufacturing Company would sell the product in Calamba and Cabuyao since based on the results of the survey, there is a high demand for odor suppressants in the two target areas.
