Abstract:

Communication is an important part of daily life for it involves information generation, transmission, reception and interpretation. The different types of communication such as voice, images, video and data increase demands for larger transmission capacity. Telecommunications in the Philippines are well-developed due to the presence of modern infrastructure facilities which Digital Telecommunications Inc. (DIGITEL) led. It provided the most innovative and best value products and services to its customers but this service had been limited when it was sold to Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) which is the preferred full service provider of voice, video and data at the most attractive levels of price, service quality, content and coverage, thereby bringing maximum benefit to the Company's stakeholders.
