IMPROVEMENT OF CUTTING TOOLS UTILIZATION IN MACHINE SHOP OF EBARA BENGUET INCORPORATED AT CANLUBANG, LAGUNA

Abstract:

Using the qualitative and quantitative methods, this study attempted to provide an answer to the problem regarding the cutting tools usage of the Ebara Benguet, Inc.  (EBI) in Canlubang, Laguna. The data gathered from the company and the metal testing center were evaluated to formulate possible solutions. Results showed that the existing cutting tool needed replacement; thus, the researchers formulated a new  design for cutting tools usage and proposed other alternatives in producing valuable products that the Ebara Benguet, Inc. and even other  companies experiencing the same problem can adopt.
