Abstract:

Toyota Motor Philippines has implemented signboards of traffic rules and speed requirements along its vicinity to control the traffic. This case study developed traffic control and monitoring system for the safety and security of the vehicles and employees in Toyota Motor in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. Three alternative solutions were proposed, namely, the implementation of traffic monitoring using speed trap, thru-beam sensor, and radio frequency identification. The best solution considered was the use of speed trap for it was economically helpful to the company.
