FRONT OFFICE PROCEDURE OF MICROTEL, BATANGAS: AN ASSESSMENT

Abstract:

The case study identified the practice of the wait staff on the established standards in terms of receiving the guest, seating the guest, presenting the menu, offering refreshment, taking order, food presentation, and showing gratitude. It also determined the meal sequence offered by the wait staff during breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the common problems they encountered. The data for this descriptive research were gathered through survey, observation, and interview. The respondents were mainly composed of the wait staff.
