Abstract:

I would like to talk about the synergetic relationship between a university writing curriculum, technology, and industry, a relationship often given little attention, a relationship that will certainly play a role in your professional life. In doing so, I will describe a relatively new academic program, professional writing, and how its pedagogical design can give students a decided advantage in today’s job market.
