Substituting waste materials in construction is well known for producing new materials that could be helpful in human lives and help prevent environmental and ecological damage that is caused by quarrying and depletion of raw materials. A wall is not just a partition that is found in houses or gives privacy for the occupants, but it also has an impact on what and how the inside temperature of the house will be. This study aimed to explore the possibility of using waste materials such as sawdust that was mixed with cement as substitute for sand and gravel in making a wall. This decreases the temperature in residential buildings due to its capability to insulate outside heat. This study was carried out using experimental development design involving two miniatures with 1 m by 1 m by 1.8 m in dimensions and was monitored for 32 trials within 8 days. These were used in this study to find out the significant difference between the conventional and sawdust-cement mixture. Based on the findings of the study, the sawdust-cement mixture was suitable for making an insulation wall.
