The Impact of Microfinance Foundation to Small and Medium Enterprises in the Province of Bukidnon

Abstract:

This paper presents (1) the level of effectiveness of the implementation of microfinance program along the areas of information and education and communication, savings mobilization, capability building, and micro-lending; (2) the impact of micro-financing on  the lives of the beneficiaries of Microfinance Foundation along social, economic, political, and spiritual aspects; and (3) the relationship between the implementation of the microfinance program and its impact on the quality of life of the beneficiaries. Discussion is a product of fieldwork conducted in Bukidnon Province, Northern Mindanao within April - May 2012 with a micro-finance organization.
