Despite of the government effort in helping couples to plan their family, there are still an increasing number of families who experienced difficulty. Thus, this study was done to determine the attitudinal issues of married women or couples toward the use of artificial methods of family planning in terms of individual’s attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. Also the study sought to discover the extent of benefits on the use of artificial methods of family planning. This study employed correlational research design where significance of relationship was sought between the attitudinal issues and extent of benefits towards the use of artificial methods of family planning among married women. Pearson r was used to analyze the data gathered from a total of 100 respondents from the four barangays in District 1, Davao City. The study revealed that significance of relationship exists between the attitudinal issues and the extent of benefits of using contraception. Also, married women have favorable attitude towards the use of artificial methods of family planning because they believe it could help them plan their family. Further, these findings also imply that married women are driven by personal choices rather than be influenced by external factors, which include the people and the media.
