Community Extension Programs of the Graduate School: Social Responsibility Initiatives of Rizal Memorial Colleges

Abstract:

Community extension is one of the four pillar functions of higher education. Together with it are instruction, research, and productivity. Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) is so engrossed with its activities on community extension which are considered as the springboard of its stewardship commitment. The study describes its partnership with three partner areas. These are Barangay 74-A, Talomo, Matina Crossing; Barangay Bangoy District, Sasa; and the Davao City Female Jail known as Ray of Hope of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
