Historical Evolution of the Philippine School for the Deaf: 107 Years of Leadership, Instruction, Networking and Linkages, and Community Service

Abstract:

This historical research explored the 107 years of leadership of the Philippine School for the Deaf (PSD). By analyzing the three phases of leadership, instruction, networking, and linkages along with community service from 1907 to 2014, drawn from information provided by 51 informants the study was able to unravel the developments that were instrumental in the success and continuous growth of the institution.
