Theme Restaurant’s Layout as a Selling Factor: A Case of Eurie Safari Bar and Restaurant

Abstract:

This study focused on the layout of a theme restaurant as a selling factor. The study covered the design of the entryway and dining area of an establishment based on its theme, the effect of its layout as perceived by the customers, and how it fares with the other establishments around. The study also discussed the compliance of the layout of Eurie Safari Bar and Restaurant to the universal standards of design.

The study used the descriptive method of research. Data were gathered using a survey questionnaire administered to the customers, observation checklist used by the researchers in their observation, and a personal interview with the manager.

Results revealed that Eurie Safari Bar and Restaurant has a very good layout because of its consistency in the theme of its restaurant.

In conclusion, the layout of Eurie Safari Bar and Restaurant was given a very good rating because it met most of the universal standards of design and that layout of the establishment based on the safari theme was one of the reasons why customers patronized it.

It is recommended that the management of Eurie Safari Bar and Restaurant continue in discovering and developing new trends to improve and maintain the restaurant’s layout consistent to its Safari theme.
