Automatic Student Study Plan Generator Using Decision Tree CART Algorithm for Letran Calamba Films

Abstract:

Study plans are organized schedules that outline students’ study times and learning goals. These allow students to be guided by their goals in order to achieve them. In order to generate study plans more quickly, this study aimed to develop an Automatic Student Study Plan Generator using a Decision Tree CART Algorithm for Letran Calamba. The system that was developed creates a study plan based on the given course listing of each students. The system can also generate reports that can help monitor the course adjustments for irregular students and it can also provide factual data that can be used by the Dean to be a basis of special courses to offer and when they should be offered. Hence, the system can be of help to both the faculty and the students since it keeps track of requirements and helps create a plan for the students’ entire semester.
