Reginald’s Pharmacy Sales and Stocks Management using Desktop and Android Application

Abstract:

Most drug stores nowadays are moving toward modernization using the most advanced technology in the field. Reginald’s Pharmacy, however, is still using a manual process in their daily transactions. Thus, to help them improve the management and to provide a better-quality service to their customers, this study aimed to produce a system that will efficiently and effectively help them manage the pharmacy. The researchers used the descriptive research method to get responses and feedback from the target users of the system. Through the study, the researchers found that the system developed for the Reginald’s Pharmacy was able to help them lessen the workload and the time when tending to the customer’s needs. The researchers recommended that features such as trend analytics, more interactive features for the android application and an image processing that will be able to identify a doctor’s prescription may be considered by the future researchers to greatly improve the current systems’ capabilities.
