Establishment of CPA Review Center in Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba for BS Accountancy Graduates

Abstract:

This study determined the projected demand of BS Accountancy graduating students in Laguna for Letran Calamba CPA Center. Adopting a descriptive design, the study used survey questionnaires to gather data from the graduating BS Accountancy students in Laguna. The results revealed that the students’ decision in choosing a review center is influenced by the following: high percentage of passing rate, completeness of handouts and review materials, and the name and reputation of the review center. Additionally, the respondents indicated that they prefer a review fee that ranges from Php 8,001 to Php 10,000 only. The researchers therefore recommended that a CPA Review Center should be put up as it would provide a great source of income for the institution. The project would also help the Colegio maximize its current resources, such as its facility and equipment. Future researchers may conduct a similar study to further support its viability.
