Establishing L3 Hog Fattening Farm in Brgy. Looc, Calamba City Laguna

Abstract:

This feasibility study identified the demand for a farm that has an all-in-all-out system and a biogas facility to minimize the odor and to provide proper nutrition for pigs in the City of Calamba. The researchers used the descriptive research design with quantitative approach and recruited 85 respondents who were meat vendors in public markets and talipapa in Calamba City. The researchers found out that the farm has capabilities to supply the demand of pork within the town. They recommended that further studies should be conducted to make the people become aware of the needs of the community. In doing so, agriculture can be improved for the benefit of the people.
