Feasibility of Establishing an Office Supply Trading Center in Sta. Rosa Laguna and Surrounding Municipalities

Abstract:

The study was designed to determine the market potential of office supply trading center in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Marzie Trading, the company name, would provide high quality bond paper and copy paper with a substance of 16, 20, 24 and 28. The company would focus on paper, and it also intended to provide information regarding the opportunity of introducing the trade enterprise to the market. To put up the trading center, the proponents accomplished all the requirements in creating a business for them to operate. They considered the operational, marketing, and financing requirements before setting up and managing the business. The owner and manager of the company must select and hire a sales agent. Based on the computed income statement, the company could get a 10% projected income annually. Based on the respondents’ responses from the three municipalities, there is a high demand for a trading center, and therefore, the business is feasible. It showed that 32.26% of the respondents consumed 11-20 reams a month, 21.58% of SMe’s used 21-40 reams monthly, 17.63% of the SMe’s consumed 5-10 reams of paper monthly, and 11.34% of the respondents used 61 reams and above of paper every month. The total demand for Marzie Trading was 380 in Cabuyao, Sta.Rosa, and Binan in Laguna.
