Abstract:

Foods and beverages, which are prepared and sold on streets and festival areas and consumed by the consumers on the run, are known as street foods. These foods are alternatives to homemade food and are more affordable when compared with the food supplied at the restaurants. They are mostly criticized and seen as a threat to health since they are usually prepared, cooked, and sold in open places where hygiene and sanitation are not strictly observed. Consequently, there is a possibility of food contamination.
