Abstract:

This research aimed to find out the feasibility of establishing a dairy store outlet for dairy products. The products to be sold are fresh cow’s milk, low fat milk, choco milk, kesong puti, yogurt low fat, yogurt non-fat, café latte and ice cream. These products are made from 100% fresh cow’s milk, pasteurized and homogenized. Milk is a good source of vitamins and minerals that the body needs because it contains different nutrients as well. The increasing demand for milk and other dairy products can be a great opportunity for establishing a dairy store business, and so, dairy products have the great potential to enter the bigger market and to be known not just in the province but also in other places. The researchers found out that the dairy products that are locally produced are slowly gaining popularity as more people now are health conscious and choose products that are fresh and preservative-free. Further research on the varieties of dairy products that the local farmers produce was recommended. Promotional medium and tools were also suggested to increase people’s awareness of the availability of local dairy products.
