A Feasibility Study on the Development of iSight: A Performance Monitoring Application Designed for the Parent of Letran Calamba MKM Students

Abstract:

This feasibility study was about the establishment of a business named iSight Solution. Its main objective was to serve its customer by introducing a unique service offering through an application that focused on performance monitoring. This performance monitoring system application named iSight will be offered in the form of mobile and PC application. The business targets the colleges and universities situated in Calamba Laguna as its market for the initial phase. In the survey conducted, 99% of the end-users were willing to buy the application since it would give them convenience in monitoring their son/daughter’s performance in school. This business will be registered as a sole proprietorship type of business under the name of the owner. For the project to be successful, only competent and skilled employees will be hired. This project provides opportunities for those people with IT skills, marketing and management skills. It helps in reducing the unemployment rate. It also benefits other businesses since equipment, machines and supplies will be coming from them. To complete the project, gathering of important data and information was done, and raising of capital and investment were also considered in order to fund the project. The project aimed to deliver convenience and made the work easier and faster. The application was developed using Agile Method. Provided in the study was the proposed graphical user interface of the system application. The 3 proposed project’s financial projection showed an increase in sales for the following years since nowadays, technology- based inventions are highly appreciated.
