Feasibility Study of E-Jeepney as an Alternative Mode of Transportation in Complex and Solenad 2, Nuvali, Santa Rosa City, Laguna

Abstract:

This feasibility study proposed an alternative mode of transportation that can aid the environmental problem caused by vehicles. E-Jeepney is an environment friendly vehicle that uses electricity to operate. It can lessen the pollution from the smoke- emitting vehicles. Specifically, this study intended to implement and make E-Jeepney an alternative mode of transportation in Complex to Solenad 2, Nuvali route. The researchers used descriptive design with quantitative and qualitative approaches and involved 100 commuters taking Complex to Solenad 2, Nuvali route. The researchers found out that E- Jeepney can be an alternative mode of transportation in Complex to Solenad 2, Nuvali route as utilizing electric vehicle like E-Jeepney has an increasing demand due to pollution mainly caused by vehicles. Based on the findings, the study recommended that future researchers may look into the possible effects and benefits of E-jeepney to environment, health, and the community.
