Corn Trading in Lipa City, Batangas: A Feasibility Study

Abstract:

This proposed project assessed the feasibility of implementing a corn trading business in Lipa City, Batangas. The project primarily focused on corn trading with warehousing, and it would serve as intermediary between the farmers and the feed millers. Accordingly, there are lots of feed milling business in this province since Batangas is full of livestock and poultry farms. This presents good opportunities for many potential businesses in the said industry, including this proposed project. It was found out that the proposed project is feasible in terms of market, technical, organization and management, financial, socio- economic, and environmental impact. Under marketing, a simple push strategy, which is making sure that the market is aware of the business’ existence through attempting to sell the product in the market or through personal selling. It is forwarded that future investors may implement the project since it was found to be feasible, and there is a wide opportunity in investing in the said field of business.
