Swetzel Cristine K. Dignos | April Joyce G. Batalla | Lester G. Molinyawe

Abstract:

The study aimed to provide the customers the best prepared coffee in the area complimented with pastries. Nowadays, people choose to meet in coffee shops after class or work. Coffee shops have become a good place to go to because of the ambiance. From the structure of the shop to its interior, including the furniture and fixtures such as chairs and tables, these shops make it inviting for customers to grab a cup of drink, sit, and relax. The researchers came up with this concept because, based on observations, people of any age are fond of visiting different shops and taste a wide variety of coffee blends. The researchers saw an opportunity to establish a coffee shop business with a twist— a mobile cafe that will roam around Calamba City. It will offer beverages such as coffee, Frappuccino, and pastries on the side. The residents of different barangays in Calamba City will be the primary target market. Based on the results of the survey involving 400 respondents, the majority of the respondents were willing to support the coffee shop. This provided evidence that there is a demand for this business. The researchers were hopeful that this mobile coffee shop business would be profitable.
