Pamela L. Rodriguez | Anne Kristel A. Marcha | Jullian Lawrence B. Santos

Abstract:

The purpose of this research was to determine the feasibility of saddle bag production in the market. Intended for bikers, the EcoSaddle is an eco-friendly bag, which is made of water hyacinth. It has a unique design, is durable, and can last longer. The saddle bag can be used by attaching it to bicycle saddles to serve as the bikers’ storage for their belongings while on the road. It can also serve as an expression of the users’ admiration of the Filipino culture and ingenuity and their concern for the environment. The proponents would offer the EcoSaddle to bike enthusiasts as the target customers and distribute them to seven bike shops around Calamba. The proponents planned a variety of marketing strategies like posters, tarpaulins, and social networking sites to attract potential consumers.
