A Project Feasibility Study in Establishing The Thinker’s Turf Café in Ipil-Ipil St. Calamba, Laguna

Abstract:

This research evaluated the feasibility of establishing Thinkers’ Turf, a cafe where one can experience a service that will be rendered by a suggested professor who will be available to assist the students in their subjects through one-on-one or group consultation. The proposed business will be put up at the 3rd and 4th floor of TriCalamba Bldg., Ipil-Ipil St., Brgy. Bucal, Calamba City, Laguna. The researchers used descriptive research design with quantitative approach. The survey questionnaire contained six questions and was administered to 368 respondents composed of selected junior high school, senior high school, and college students of Letran Calamba. The findings revealed that there is a big opportunity in establishing the proposed business since most of the respondents were interested in the concept. Most importantly, the business was found feasible, and the proponents were able to determine the demand and showed its financial viability. Future researchers may conduct a follow-up study on the types of customers that a café caters to further understand the market size of the coffee industry in the area.
