Carmen Victoria Dena | Christine Cheryl Nera | Alyana Baricanosa

Abstract:

This study examined the feasibility of developing a courier service business, named CAC Express or Cheryl Alyana Carmen in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It will be made accessible through a dedicated mobile application, which allows customers to access CAC Express’ service without the need to go to the establishment. With this app, customers can precisely map where the goods are to be picked up and to be delivered. Customers can also choose different payment options and may opt to pay using the Mobile Credit where they can pay using electronic load. Customers can also monitor their delivery in real time. This descriptive study will innovate the way courier services give access to their service which will provide an additional value to the business. It will also provide Small and Medium Enterprises an alternative logistics and transportation solution, which can be advantageous for their business operations as the service provides precise information about the delivery of their goods. The researchers encouraged future researchers to continuously improve CAC Express so it can expand and eventually become a large enterprise. More research is required for the improvement of the business, such as creating website, improving the tracing system, and expansion of the courier system to enable customers to send bigger and heavier items.
