Abstract:

Villa Laguna is an ethnic restaurant that serves Filipino cuisine. It is simply defined as one-stop restaurant, where customers could find a variety of dishes and delicacies that are proudly made in Laguna. Just like any other ethnic restaurants, the proposed business would depict the Filipino style dining with a perfect ambience, which would make customers feel comfortable. The proponents used competitive benchmarking. They conducted interviews and administered a survey to determine if there is a need for a new product or business and find out how the possible competitors operate their business. With authentic local Laguna food and delicacies, the proponents intended to make the pricing reasonable and affordable. The proposed business would be located at 57 Rizal St. Pagsanjan, Laguna. Since Pagsanjan is the tourist capital of Laguna, it is expected that there would be numerous tourists who would visit the place. Villa Laguna would make use of social media and offer discounts and giveaways. The proposed business would benefit every town of Laguna, specifically the unemployed individuals.
