Larissa Mae R. Monte | Gil Gabriel G. Rodriguez | Mae Ann B. Salvaleon

Abstract:

This project used an RFID system that can serve as an Identification Card for Cashless Payment for employees and students. The researchers used prototyping to gather data and aimed to design a stand-alone interactive kiosk that will help to lessen long waiting times in terms of ordering. It also integrates a cashless transaction for fast and easy payment methods between consumers and concessionaires. The study also created a system that can monitor transactions made by the customer. Observation and surveys were done to gather important data to support the project. For further improvement of the design project, the researchers found out that Arduino is important because it processes the operation of the bill acceptor and thermal printer. Therefore, the researchers recommend that the bill acceptor be set to accept a minimum value of Php 20 and to have a faster bill acceptor.
