Abstract:

Different studies show that improper posture while defecating can lead to different toilet- related diseases. In this study, the researchers designed an ergonomic product that can help the users achieve proper posture during defecation. The product can be manufactured using recycled plastic from the host company to reduce plastic waste. The researchers used quantitative and qualitative methods involving selected residents in the first and second districts of Laguna. Findings showed that most of the respondents do not observe proper posture while defecating. Based on the results of the survey, most of the respondents were willing to buy the product. As a recommendation, the researchers encouraged future researchers to improve the design of the product.
