Abstract:

This study intended to examine the feasibility of the production and marketing of ergonomically designed adjustable neck supporter o-shaped pillow with memory foam and s-curved back support made from foam rubber with fine sawdust mixed with rugby. Foam rubber is one of the major contributors of waste in the host company, Cornersteel System Corporation Inc. This waste material can be reused to produce good quality pillows, which can help prevent postural dysfunction among users. The pillows were made in the vicinity of Forest Products Research and Development Institute (FPRDI) in Los Baños Laguna. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, the data were gathered from the target market and the nearby industry in the research locale.
