Discipline: Education

Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the relationship of the level of performance of the Education graduates in LET to performance factors in terms of academic excellence, practicum performance, and vocational interest. Employing the descriptive survey correlation, purposive sampling of BSED and BEED students of UM Tagum College, and mean, Pearson r and t-test as statistical tools, it was found out that significant relationship existed between LET result and the academic achievement as well as with practicum performance. However, there was no correlation between LET result and Vocational interest. The study suggested that teachers should apply built-in review on the professional education subjects and that further studies are warranted to raise the performance of the Education graduates in the licensure exam.
