WOMEN ENTERPRENEURS OF MICRO ENTERPRISES IN DAVAO CITY: THEIR SOCIO-ECONOMIC- DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE AND ENTERPRISE INVOLVEMENT

Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the relationship between socio-economic demographic profile and enterprise involvement index of women entrepreneurs of micro enterprise in Davao City. Employing the descriptive correlation survey method with 300 women entrepreneurs as mean and Pearson r as statistical tools, it was found out that significant relationship existed between the variables. The results suggested that a study should be conducted that would relate successful enterprises with women’s involvement on the following issues: relevance of the known variables in the light of changing times, new factors on women entrepreneurs measuring capability, competitiveness, probability, growth and effect on family life.
