Fish Ham

Abstract:

The business would be known as TLC. The plant site would be located in a commercial lot in Katapatan Subdivision, Banay-banay, Cabuyao, Laguna.

 

The proposed product is a ham made from Bangus. Business expansion would be considered when the business has a firm grip in the market and when the product is widely known for its use. Continuous market penetration, further studies and innovation, increase profit were the product’s long-range objectives.

 

The study had the following assertions: (1) in the marketing aspect, it shows that there is a demand for fish ham. Based on the survey conducted, 86% in Cabuyao and 71 % in Calamba were willing to buy the product; (2) in the technical aspect, it shows that the raw materials and the equipment needed are available and there is no shortage in terms of the source of the main ingredients which is bangus; (3) fish ham is known to be environmentally friendly because there is no hazardous chemical that would be used in the production of fish ham; (4) based on the financial analysis of the study, the proposed business is financially viable for it results to desirable net income.
