The project dealt with marketing of a new variant of cookie made of grated dried mangoes and chocolate chips as a new delicacy that can help consumers protect themselves from the harmful rays of the sun.

The proposed project aimed to provide good quality product at an affordable price. This would cater the need of the target market for Beta-carotene present in mangoes. The business is expected to expand through a larger volume of production, wider market coverage, and new product variants.

The target market of the proposed product would be the elementary pupils of public and private schools in Calamba. They were chosen because they are at the age in which there would be a high probability of eating cookies. These children also need much beta-carotene to increase their immune system and protection from the harmful rays of the sun.

The project cost summary for the proposed project is Php 648,000.00. The business possibly would gain an income of Php 221,944.58 in its first year of operation and would increase every year.
