Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the factors that influence the students’ decision to pursue enrolling in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing of Letran Calamba in terms of their age, gender, year level, and family monthly income. It also aimed to determine if there is a significant difference between the factors and their age, gender, year level, and family income.

Results revealed that the institutional factor or the school in which they are enrolled is the factor that influences the students’ decision to still enrol in the program. The study also revealed that there is no significant difference between the students’ age, gender, year level, and family monthly income and the institutional factor that influences the students’ decision. On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between the institutional and student factors in terms of age, year level, and family monthly income.
