Abstract:

This study determined the perceptions of the faculty, staff and students on the manifestation of, and relationship of leadership behavior and school climate in institutions in Mindanao that

are related to the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP). Proceeding from the findings of the study, a program design is proposed for the enhancement of school climate.

The study revealed that the perceptions of the respondents in leadership behavior and school climate were moderate. Furthermore, perceptions in leadership behavior significantly relates to the perceptions in school climate.

An enhancement program for school climate is recommended in this study to avoid complacency among UCCP-related schools and for the schools to maintain standards and continue operation and services to the community.
