Abstract:
This research focuses on the factors that influence tourists' intentions to revisit domestic travel destinations after the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this research is to analyze and distinguish the factors that travelers consider when revisiting a destination, as well as to help local destinations in improving their tourism-related establishments and activities. The Push and Pull Theory of Dann was used to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of tourists in order to determine their intentions to revisit. An electronic survey questionnaire was utilized to collect the needed data and used a quantitative research approach to measure the data. Results revealed that the desire to travel for relaxation and wellness are the intrinsic factors of the tourists’ revisit intention while the extrinsic factors that the tourist considers in revisiting a destination are the safety and security of the destination. Results of the study also revealed that the intrinsic factors (push) and extrinsic factors (pull) have a significant influence on the revisit intention of the tourists.
