Student Outcomes Assessment System (v2.0)

Abstract:
This study focused on the development of a “Student Outcomes Assessment System (v 2.0)”, a web-based platform designed to streamline and automate the assessment of student outcomes. The existing process of manually computing and creating each task for student outcome assessment is time-consuming and prone to errors. To address this issue, this study proposed a system that allows users to input data manually, which is then automatically converted into a pdf with statistical and graphical data. The system was developed using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the primary objective of aiding in the assessment process and evaluating the effectiveness of the BSIT Curriculum based on student performance. After rigorous testing and validation, the system demonstrated significant efficiency in processing and presenting student outcome data, reducing the time taken for assessment tasks and increasing the accuracy of the results. The “Student Outcomes Assessment System (v 2.0)” has proven to be a valuable tool in the educational sector, particularly in assessing student outcomes and curriculum effectiveness. The system’s success suggests that further development and application of such automated systems could revolutionize the way educational institutions handle student outcome assessments.
