Pakikilahok ng Kabataan sa Komunikasyon ng Risk: Pagsusuri sa Facebook Posts ng Bulacan Youth for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management sa Panahon ng Matinding Init (Abril-Mayo 2024)

Abstract:
Noong Abril-Mayo 2024, nakaranas ang ilang bansa sa Asia ng matinding init na
nagdulot ng mga pinsala sa agrikultura, pagkaantala ng mga trabaho at klase, mga
sakit, at pagkamatay. Upang maibsan ang mga epekto ng mga panganib tulad nito,
isang mahalagang gawain ang komunikasyon ng risk sa midya. Sa mga nagdaang
taon, lubos na naging kapaki-pakinabang ang social media para sa pagpapalitan
ng impormasyon sa pagitan ng mga stakeholder tuwing may emergency at sakuna.
Nilalayon ng pag-aaral na ito na tasahin ang mga mensaheng ipinaskil ng Bulacan
Youth for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BYDRRM) sa Facebook noong
Abril-Mayo 2024 na may kinalaman sa matinding init. Nahahati ang diskusyon ng
papel sa tatlong seksiyon: 1) mga uri ng mensaheng ipinamahagi ng BYDRRM, 2)
ebalwasyon ng mga mensahe gamit ang rubrik na ibinatay sa modelong conceptual
ng emergency risk communication, at 3) implikasyon ng pag-aaral sa mga gawaing
pangkomunikasyon ng BYDRRM. Lumitaw sa pag-aaral na natamo ng BYDRRM ang
lahat ng pamantayan ng rubrik, lalo na ang pagiging bukas/transparent at malinaw
ng mga mensahe. Sa dulo, naglatag ang pag-aaral ng ilang rekomendasyon
upang lalong mapaghusay ng BYDRRM at mga katulad nitong organisasyon ang
komunikasyon ng risk sa social media.
