Abstract:

Optimm extraction and assay conditions for prostaglandin (PG) synthetase from Echinogorgia sp., a Philippine coelenterate, were studied. The co-oxidation of L-epinephrine with arachidonic acid to adenochrome (Abs.max480 nm) was used to assay PG synthetase activity. Optimum assay temperature wa
