Abstract:

This study was conducted to find out the study skills of Miriam College High School (MCHS) students and to serve as basis for a proposed Study Skills Program. A total of 144 fourth year students who came from the Grade School unit of MC in school year 2007-2008 participated in the study. At entry and after four years, these students were given the questionnaire, Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes (SSHA).

Mean scores were computed. Graphs were also used to illustrate the results between the pre-test and post-test. Multivariate Repeated Measures was done to find out if the mean difference between the pre-test and post-test is significant or not.

Results showed a significant increase between the pre-test to the post-test in Work Method but no significant increase across groups in all SSHA scales
