Abstract:

The rapid growth of e-commerce has transformed business operations, making logistics a critical factor in ensuring efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. This study assessed the utilization and acceptance of e-commerce logistics among micro businesses in Laguna using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), focusing on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed, with data collected from 112 micro business owners through a validated survey questionnaire using purposive sampling. Descriptive statistics, weighted mean, composite mean, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze the data. Findings revealed that most respondents were female, aged 18–25 years old, operating as sole proprietors, engaged in clothing businesses, and had been in business for one to three years. Respondents generally accepted e-commerce logistics in terms of both perceived usefulness (composite mean = 1.80) and perceived ease of use (composite mean = 1.95), with usefulness receiving a slightly higher rating. No significant differences were found in perceived acceptance when respondents were grouped according to sex and type of ownership. However, significant differences were observed based on age and nature of business for both perceived usefulness and ease of use, while years of business engagement significantly affected perceived ease of use. The findings suggest that e-commerce logistics is widely accepted among micro businesses and plays a significant role in improving operational efficiency. Enhancing system usability, error management, and logistics support may further strengthen adoption and utilization.
